Chaz Cardigan is a Los Angeles-based writer working across score, song, and story. Cardigan’s sharp pop lens — influenced by indie rock, alternative, electronic dance, and folk — and his colorful, hot-knife lyrics built a hardcore fanbase through his artist project. “Not OK!” (from his major-label debut Vulnerabilia) climbed into the Top 15 at Alternative Radio, and his work has become a favorite across the film/TV landscape with placements including Netflix’s To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You and ESPN.

Cardigan is the composer and lyricist of The Brass Teapot. Based on the 2012 cult-classic film, the show is a timely, magical dark comedy. With an original score drawing from show tunes and alternative rock, The Brass Teapot opens a new chapter of Cardigan’s career. He is currently developing multiple original projects for stage and screen.
